Copy and paste is available in Book Creator for Chrome but not from book to book, if that's what you mean? Students can copy the whole book though, does that help? https://support.bookcreator.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002440454-Copying-books-how-and-why

It would also be good to copy images from other apps eg from pages? It would save many steps in having to add I ages to photo library.

Yes - being able to copy images from the Pages app on my iPad would be great.

I do not appear to be able to fix and save the relative position of objects on pages in the Bookcreator app either, so to combine them in the Pages app first then paste the combined object in would save a lot of issues (at the moment, accidentally clicking on objects in my Bookcreator pages has things moving all over the place!) Is this how the Bookcreator app normally works, or is it to do with IOS7 problems? (I have only just downloaded the app, so have no experience of it prior to IOS7 - have just read the thread on editing text in boxes, another problem I have, so realise IOS7 has caused some issues.)

Otherwise, thanks for a really helpful app. The ability to create iBooks on your iPad is a great thing to offer.

Yes I love this app too!! Very easy to use in the school setting and the kids and parents love being able to read books together at home.  It is very easy to show teacher aides how to use as well.

Like the previous comments, i too would love to see a cut and paste option.  I often make quite similar books, and it would save soooo much time to be able to cut and paste or to be able to copy a page.

Any help you give us to save time would be much appreciated.

    I'd like this feature too.

Melinda, here's a workaround I am using in the meantime. I set up a page and use it as a template. I then go to the 'pages' menu, tap edit, short tap on my template page and then copy the amount of pages I need.

    Hope that helps

Thank you Isabelle for your page template tip - just what I was looking for after painfully trying to recreate the same page elements page after page. This worked like a charm - should be included in Help files. Thanks! Brian

I also love this app and uses it all the time.

I also miss the possibility to move a picture inside the book from one page to another page. Sometime I want to rearrange pictures between pages and the picture is erased from the iPad.
Please can you add that feature soon?

I think it would also be helpful to be able to replace an image within a frame without having to import a new image and resize. For example if you are using a template from one book to create another you could select the frame then a replace option to import a new image into the existing  frame.

Perhaps I am missing the obvious but can't seem to find on my ipad where any audio we create with bookcreator is stored for reimport into another page...At least I hope to be able to copy/cut and paste audio recorded on a page so I can move it to another page.

Hi Kimberly. There isn't a way to do that at the moment so the workaround is to copy the whole page. See my previous post for details.

A copy and paste feature for elements within pages would make this app perfect! Otherwise it's difficult to put together anything more than a few pages. Hope you can add this feature soon! :) Great work!

Great app. A copy and paste function for elements on pages would make the app perfect. Any loans to add something like this? Without this function editing of longer books is not very practical.

Good news everyone, copy and paste is now here! See the blog post on Book Creator for iPad v3.2.

Is copy and paste available on Book Creator for Chrome? I can't figure out how to send out templates to students without going into each book myself and adding the pages-- with 150 kids, I don't think I can do that! Could you add a feature for students to be able to copy and paste from the teacher book?
