    Hi Lisa,

The copy and paste update was about copying items from within Book Creator (text boxes, images etc.) from one page to another.

However, you should be able to copy and paste text from Evernote. Copy the text in Evernote as normal, add a text box in Book Creator and paste the text into the text box. That should work.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I tried but it did not allow it to paste. It works when I take text from other apps like Pages but not Evernote.

We want our students to use an app like Evernote to write their drafts before creating their book....

Help!!! Our project already started and kids already have their written work in evernote.

Is it an issue with Evernote? Have you tried pasting the text from Evernote into an email? Does that work?

Don't believe it is an evernote issue as I am able to copy the text from evernote into an email, notes and pages.

You're right, there is an issue pasting text from Evernote into the text box. We have an update coming out today (or tomorrow) that will fix this problem. You will be able to paste the text directly onto the page of your book, without adding a text box first.

If you have the free version of Book Creator, the update has already been applied - we're just waiting for the paid version to be released by Apple too.

Hi I have the paid version. I am so happy to hear there will be a fix by tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Lisa,

I wanted to let you know this update is now available in the App Store.

To paste the text from Evernote just long press on a page in Book Creator and choose Paste. (It's still not possible to paste into the Add Text screen in this update).
