You can record videos from within Book Creator or import videos that are already saved in your device or cloud storage.
To record a new video right into Book Creator touch the + icon from the action bar and then select ‘Video Camera’ from the menu:
This will launch the standard Android video camera app, from here you can record your video as normal. When you are done your video will be inserted into your book.
To add in a video that is already on your tablet choose the + icon from the action bar and choose ‘Import Video’ from the menu:
From the Gallery on your device choose a video file to insert and it will be copied into your book.
Book Creator works with MP4 videos so as to be compatible with the ePub3 standard for ebooks. You should be able to insert any video with .mp4 or .m4v file extensions.
Videos from cloud storage
If you have videos saved in cloud storage accounts such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive then you can import videos from those too so long as you have the app for the service installed.
The Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and other icons should appear in the options when you choose to import a video, the way these icons are presented will vary depending on which version of Android you are using but they all work in a similar way.
Choose the cloud service that holds your files from the list and browse to the video file that you want to install.
Book Creator will then download and import the video into your book.
Video files can be very large and so can take a long time to download, be aware that if you are accessing the internet via your mobile operator then downloading videos may incur significant data charges.
