If you have text in another format or application here are some suggestions for bringing the text into Book Creator.
1. Transfer the text to your tablet
First you’ll need to get the text onto your tablet. This could be through pasting it into an email or synching a file over Google Drive or Dropbox.
2. Copy and paste your text into Book Creator
Using the standard Android copy and paste (accessed through a long press on your text) you can paste into the Add Text screen in Book Creator. This is the screen displayed when the keyboard is visible. Press and hold in the text editing area until the word Paste appears, then press the paste button to insert the text.
Book Creator will not preserve the formatting of your text at this time.
Some considerations for large amounts of text
Book Creator makes 'fixed layout' ebooks which means text and images are positioned exactly on each page. This is great when you’re starting from scratch and want to control the layout of your book.
Unfortunately it does mean that each page is independent of the next so text doesn’t flow across multiple pages. With Book Creator you’ll need to paste sections of text into each page or spread.
To create e-books with large amounts of flowing text, applications like iBooks Author (on the Mac) are better suited.
