You may reach the point where a class project ends, or you reach the limit of books you can make in a library. At this point you'll want to archive the library.
Click the Libraries button and click the 3 dots on the library you want to archive, then choose Archive.
You'll get this message:
So, when you archive a library, you're taking away access for everyone except you, as the owner. But any books that have been published online will still be accessible via their read.bookcreator.com link, and any books you've downloaded as an ebook will be available on your computer (or wherever you've saved the ePub file).
Accessing an archived library
Click on the Libraries button again and you'll see you now have a new menu item showing your archived libraries. Click on this and choose the library you want to access.
From this menu, you'll be able to see a list of the books that have been archived. Any that are published online will also have the blue globe icon next to them. Click on the 3 dots for a book and you'll have two options (three if the book is published online).
Copy to My Books - create a duplicate copy of this book in your own My Books library.
Published online - click on this and you'll get 3 more options:
- View Online - open the read.bookcreator.com link.
- Copy Link - copy the web link (URL) of the book
- Unpublish - take it offline.
Download as ebook - you can save the book as an ePub file to your computer.
You also have the option to restore the library (if your plan allows it) or delete it forever. Click on the 3 dots next to the library title to access this menu.
